Surgery with Dr Arena
Your GP or Medical Practitioner may have suggested that you require surgery. An initial consultation with Dr Arena must occur before any surgical bookings are made for you.
Dr Arena will discuss surgical options with you at the time of the consultation.
If surgery is required, Dr Arena’s Practice Manager will provide you with an Estimate of Fees. Please contact your Private Health Fund to ensure you covered.
Private Health
We ask that you carefully check with your Private Health Fund prior to surgery, to ensure that you are not subject to any waiting periods, exclusions or restrictions and that your insurance is paid up to date.
If you have not checked this information before surgery, you may have to pay the full surgical account and the hospital fees.
As a private billing practice, an out of pocket gap fee may apply and is payable at the post operative visit.

Please note that these are all Private Hospitals. Uninsured patients are able to be seen and operated on at these hospitals. (Fees apply)
